1. What We Collect When you create an account we collect your email address and any business data you enter — including businesses, earnings, expenses, products, and materials. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or any information beyond what you enter. Guest mode users have no account data collected — all data stays on your device only.
2. How We Use Your Data Your data is used solely to provide the STACKD experience — saving your records and syncing across your devices. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used, such as how many people open the app and which features are used most. No personal information is collected through analytics. We do not use your data for advertising or any other purpose.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored All account data is stored on Google Firebase servers, encrypted at rest and in transit using SSL/TLS. Firebase is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2/3 standards. Guest mode data is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to any server.
4. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Your business data is private and visible only to you.
5. Guest Mode Guest mode allows you to use STACKD without creating an account. In guest mode all data is stored locally on your device only. If you delete the app your guest data is permanently lost. Creating an account will import your guest data into your new account automatically.
6. Analytics We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, screen views, and feature usage. This data is not linked to your identity and is used only to improve the app experience.
7. Exports When you export data as CSV or PDF, files are generated locally on your device and are not uploaded to any server. You are responsible for how you store and share exported files.
8. Notifications If you enable notifications, STACKD sends local notifications scheduled on your device only. No notification data is collected or sent to any server.
9. Tax Estimates Tax estimates shown in STACKD are approximations only. They are not tax advice. Always consult a qualified tax professional for accurate filing.
10. Security Your account is protected by email and password authentication managed by Firebase Auth. We never store passwords in plain text. We recommend using a strong, unique password.
11. Your Rights & Account Deletion You have the right to access, correct, or permanently delete your data at any time.
How to delete your account:
This permanently removes your account and all business data from our servers.
12. Children STACKD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
